<Aboard the Nebula...>

JT3: Navigation! Get us to the coordinates of that last transmission!
Nav: Yessir!
JT3: Charge all weapons! Shields to maximum! If anything's still out there, I'm not getting caught off guard!

<Soon, the First Strike Fleet arrives at the coordinates of the transmission...>

JT3: This can't be right! There's nothing! No wreckage, no ships, nothing!
Nav: These are the correct coordinates, sir.
JT3: Alright! Order the ships to spread out and search! Have them report in with ANYTHING that has happened every hour!
Comm: Yessir.

<A few hours later....>

JT3: Still NOTHING?! I had an entire fleet on this mission! Not to mention Ronin's ships! They can't just dissappear! Scan for any heat signatures, radiation patterns, weapon discharge, anything!
Scan: We already have.
JT3: Then do it AGAIN! And keep doing it until something turns up!
Scan: Yessir.
Eng: Sir, get down to deck 14 quick! We've found something on the ship that definatly shouldn't be here!
JT3: On my way.

<On deck 14>

JT3: Would anyone mind telling me what the heck that is?
Eng: It appears to be a ball of anti-matter. It was left here from a ship.
JT3: There's just one little problem with that. If it were anti-matter, it would BLOW US UP.
Eng: That's what we're trying to figure out. It has more than enough contact with matter to explode, but it doesn't.
JT3: Keep working on it. I'm going back to the bridge.

<Later>

JT3: Anything yet?
Scan: Nothing, sir.
JT3: Contact the other ships. Have them scan for anti-matter. There could be more of those clumps out there.
Comm: Right away.
Admiral Kown(on the Supernova): Sir, we've found three more of those anti-matter clumps.
JT3: Any relation to the one we found here?
Kown: They seem to be exactly the same.
JT3: Forget the anti-matter for now. Keep looking for the White Star. I've got a friend out there......

OOC: Oops, forgot to mention that the balls of anti-matter went right through the walls of the ships. Sorry.

I'm placing 2 of my recoinassance fleets and 1 battle fleet and your disposition, JT, to aid you with our search for Ronin. You will not be held accountable for any losses they incur.

We wish to help you find Ronin.

The Psi Corps are moving towards your fleet as we speak. JT 3, you have full command of these ships until you return. Also they have been *resocialized* to not remember the past with the FSD. They will not bicker with them.

Thank you for your help. The ships will be very useful.

We still have not figured out the secret to the Anti-Matter clumps. We will send them to Alpha Sol for all AOP members, as well as to Korian for inspection in return for the ships.

We will be sending a team of scientists to help study the antimatter. Also, JT, I ask that you judge these matters not on a political basis, hence not giving me the antimatter only for the ships, but because we can both help in the search for Ronin.

Well, I would have given it to you if you were helping in any way, giving things to me or not. Anyone who joins will be allowed to study the antimatter. I am trying not to judge this on a political basis, as finding Ronin is much more important than some grudge we're holding.

<On board the Nebula>

Comm: Sir, Admiral Kown is hailing us.
JT3: Open the channel.
Kown: Sir, I think we've found something.
JT3: What?! What is it?!
Kown: It's......wreckage. You'd better come see it yourself.
JT3: On my way.

<Later, at the wreckage site>

JT3: Hmmm......I've never seen any kind of material like this before. It's metal, except it's almost....alive!
Kown: It's not from any known ship type, including Guardian.
JT3: Good. That means Ronin's probably out there, somewhere.
Scan: Sir, there's a wormhole opening .02 AU's from us!
JT3: WHAT?! What's coming out?
Scan: It's....Oh, ****.
JT3: WHAT THE **** IS THAT?!
Kown: I've never seen anything like it....it's...._HUGE_.
JT3: Order all ships to converge on our coordinates NOW!
Comm: Yessir. Wormholes opening.
JT3: Good. Shields at maximum. Charge weapons. Load Singularity Busters. Scan that fleet. Find out everything you can about them.
Scan: They've blocked our scanners!
JT3: Fire a probe into the fleet. The smallest one we have.
Weap: Yessir. Firing.
JT3: Did they detect it?
Scan: It doesn't appear that they did. Scanning now.
Comm: Sir, all fleets have arrived!
Scan: Sir, you'd better take a look at this.
JT3: But, that's impossible! No ship could store that much energy!
Scan: They're approaching!
JT3: Hail them. Open all frequencies.
Comm: They're not responding!
JT3: Back off. I don't think we can take that kind of firepower.
Scan: All ships retreating.
JT3: Open a wormhole and get us out of here!
Weap: Opening now. All ships at full retreat!
Scan: They've fired! Direct hit on the Infinity! Infinity shields at 22%!
JT3: IN ONE HIT?! GET ALL SHIPS OUT OF HERE NOW!
Weap: We made it! All ships safely in the wormhole.
JT3: Do we still have contact with the probe?
Weap: Yes. I'll get as much information on that fleet as possible.

tbc.......

(Hope you don't mind if this is where i come in. The wreckage that "almost seemed alive" was perfect)

Helmsman: Chief Optomizer Datalink, dropping into normal space sir!
Datalink: All stations at the ready! Navigator, is this the last reported corordinates of our scout?
Navigator: That is correct, though there seems to be no... wait, incoming space biots. They appear to be from the lost scout sir.
Datalink: Load their information into the main databank and present it on screen.

"moments later"

Archie, Scout Commander: Chief Optomizer, we have reached the quadrant that you assigned us to. We are conducting a search of the area as you commanded. The only annomoly is several spherical globes of unidentifiable content. Probing gave us no leads as to what they could possible be. Attempt at collection failed. There are also signs of high energy content in this area, as if some massive fleet had moved through, or perhaps a battle. It is strangle unsettling here, almost as if...
Scout helmsman, breaking in: Sir, something massive is approching into our view!!!
Archie: Attempt contact, but keep a distance.
Navigator: Should i plot an escape route sir?
Archie: No, let us first attempt to contact.
Communicator: Biots have returned sir, all attempts at contact failed.
Archie: Hmm, Alright everybo...
Scanner: Thoes globes are aproaching at great speed sir!!!

"Globes enter the ship, touching the Octospiders as they go. The Octos thrash around their tenticles, and then dissapear"

"As a globe approaches Archie, he reaches out and enters the command for the release of the message biots, programmed to intercept the HQ ship when it arrives. Then he to is consumed"

Datalink (sitting somewhat dazed and shocked): Scanner!!! Have you located anything in the area?! Report!!!
Scanner: Some spherical Globes sir, and what appears to be the remains of the scout. The ship is still partly alive, but dying. No sign of any crew.
Communicator: Sir, the rest of the fleet has dropped out of normal space. Having taken in the resent events, i have taken the liberty to order a maximum security net around the colony ships.
Scanner: Sir!!! A massive amount of energy is being produced, as if a wormhole is opening, though it is much stronger. I have also just detected another residue that is definatly a wormhole, though it appears to have been made in hast, perhaps in response to whatever is coming in now. Mabey another species has been here an made an escape through that one.
Datalink: All hands on all ships, make quickly your escape. As we don't know this area of space, follow the apparent escape route of the other alien fleet. And, in case of hostile attack, protect the conlony ships at all cost!!

(I'm sure that you get the general idea of where i am going with this. Hope it works and that i didn't take to many liberties. Will explain more about why i am here with colony ships when contact is made. The "living ship" i decided to make my scout, though you most likely had something else in mind. For all of my ships are biological and actually alive. Awaiting your next post and please tell me if this one was ok)

OOC: Ummm..... not exactly, I kinda was thinking that it would be from one of the ships that attacked Ronin, but if this is part of your contact story, then you can keep it.

Thanks JT, with your go ahead, i will keep it then. The general idea that i had in mind was to be following your escape route and either run into your fleet and make contact there or into another fleet that was supporting you. Awaiting your next post.
