(OOC) This is a little story about the monolith aliens returning. There will be no "supermanning", and if you people want a diffent way, we can forget about this and make a new one. On with the show! (In Ch.) <In deep space, Emperor Eccles' probe has found something very strange. A fighter squadron has towed it back to Alpha Centauri, and a meeting of some of the Faction leaders is being held on a Space Station next to it.> JT3: What the he** is that? It's huge! The face appeared human in shape, but with the characteristic markings of the Empire's Drone Mk.7. Several devices were attached to the body. Apparently the probe pickup team had not fallen into the Enigma Blackhole... The human spoke English, but with a mechanical effort. The overall effect was like a Dalek in Treacle, but intelligable. " We have mastered your language by channeling our minds into this 'creature'" ACHEANS" Indeed. We own Chiron" ECCLES " But we live on Chiron" JT3: " Acheans we humans come in peace, and we would like an exchange of knowledge. We both would have information wish we should share". ACHEANS:" We have discovered what we need to know about you from the drone we have here. JT3: "Exile?" ACHEANS:" We evolved in the during the cycle of Chirons fungus life, unfortuately planet rose against us, and we had to leave, only a few of us managed to escape, and we went far into the high gravity centre of the Galaxy" ECCLES: " Tragic. We must agree to meet physically". ACHEANS: " We will beam aboard an emissary". KORIAN:"Beam?" Later, the Freedom alliance debates Eccles" I think we should insert a nanorobot into the Emissary so we can steal all the aliens information" What do you think? |

Galen: We, we mean... I mean, I dissagree, w-I think that they would know. JT: I thought you were a hive mind. Galen: Our polictical sturucture has undergone some reconstruction, we can now think as indivuduals again, the group is just part. Anyways, they would know if we did it. And I don't trust these people if Chiron kicked them off. Brak: Why not? We almost were? Eccles: How would they know? Galen: With their technology they must. You have retrived some artifacts and been to the monoliths yourself surely? JT: Of course, but we are more advanced than when we first landed here. Galen: AND they must be mad at Planet, perhaps attempting to kill it, if they can kill Planet AND still inhabit it, think what they can do to us. Karok: How do we know that it will kill Planet? How do we know this isn't your atheistic propaganda? Collins: The Brotherhood will supply the nano-robot, our bio-tech interfaces are head and shoulders above anyone else's. Galen: Mabey we should just get the Voice of Planet in here, it would tell us. |

I agree. We should revive the AOP. I am Psi Gating to the Nebula. More ships should arrive soon. Keep monitoring that gate. So far, those ships have not attacked and nothing has come out. I say we should keep it this way until our forces are mobilized. Agreed? |

The BrotherHood has found a weakness! The port shield emitter is extremely poorly protected on the Achean ships. If we concentrate our fire on this portion of the ship, we might be able to defeat the Acheans with only minimal casualties. |

We learnt from planets pattern, and we have planet sized computers processing technology at a tremdous rate. We are superior to planet. We are superior to all of you. However if you bow down before us, we will spare some of you for genetic material, your ears are particularly interesting. Also a couple of things you may need to know about the universe: ECCLES:' We shall never be conquered.' GALEN: 'Another one of you stock phrases Egotistical One?'(Laughs sardonically). KAROCK: 'You cannot prove the an absence of God'. ACHEANS: 'Pray for Survival. As only divine intervention will save you now.' JT3: ' Who funded the hive-mind that researched tobbacco?' ACHEANS: ENOUGH! We will come in hordes from the Central Rim. We will conquer all the species of this spiral arm. (The human speaker collapses then is shattered into a million fragments) ECCLES JT3: Shut up! ECCLES: I thought the standard probe would be useless against a controled creature. So I added my own modifications to the probe, as I know the structure of my own drones well enough. JT3: You cunning.. BASTARD@ KAROCK: Hail Mary ful.. GALEN: Well we want to know the information you found. KAROCK: I bid 450! ECCLES: (smiles wolfishly). Just fooling. JT3 ECCLES: I'm not finished yet! The overall Alien appearance is unique. They are like two legged insects, with a massive exoskeleton, they are not effected by temperature,vacuum or atmosphere. The High choose their own bodies and are they only class allowed any freedom. ECCLES: I wish I knew more. We cannot reach the Central Rim easily, so we must attempt to steal one of their drive systems, anybody else got any ideas. |

The Titus appears. Comm: the Titus is asking for permission to fire DimTear missiles. Galen: Do it! Karok: No, DimTears arethe work of Satan. What are they anyway? Galen: Okay, Karok, what they do is they rip... JT: Galen, JUST FIRE! Galen: FIRE! The Titus fires 2 DimTear missiles, one hits but does no damage, the other accidentily hits a fighter and destroys it, but causing damage to the Achean ship. Galen: Send out some shooting targets! Then fire the DimTears at them! Eccles: Don't you wish you hadn't outlawed Flavored tachyons? Galen: Ego, get off my case and nuke those bastards! Comp: Sir, we have access to a minor command pathway, we can move one of the drone's left outer claw. Collins: That is all? Galen: Wait, see if you can get it to their engineering. Comp: Yes Galen: Titus, fire some more! The ship is rocked by a large blast. The Titus fires 2 more DimTears and is destroyed by the Acheans. |

I have had an idea for a new arocity. We give our alien friends a disease, that lives on the surface of their exoskeleton. The disease creates cracks, and they die, with their insides coming out. I can mutate a bacterium I was using on communists. We would have to penetrate a ship though. |

Hearby Follows a transcript from the Empire of Humanity Colony on Sinope, Jupiter. Suddenly a Mantis shaped ship appears on the star-map. It has several smaller ships as escort. Officer: What is that? The Mantis opens its flaps. They glow with energy. The fighter escort move from the front of the vessel. EWBH: Launching the EHS Lenin, flavored Tachyons will stop them. LENIN: EHS Lenin is now online. All systems nominal. The fighter escort moves towards Lenin. Lenin: Firing Tacyhons...Whiskey Tango Foxtrot! Over. The fighters shifted directly behind Lenin as she fired, only one fighter was destroyed. O: They just jumped behind, jumped! The Mantis fires a White beam at the Lenin. It hits the Drive system. Lenin: losing atmosphere, integriety (A large bang as the Bridge depressurises). OFFICER WITH BIG NOSE AND NICE JUGS: This a distress beacon from Sinope, we are under attack from an Achean Fleet. Our underground system will protect us. OWBNANJ: The Mantis is powering up, what is that on the tail? The Mantis fires, it blows the crust off the 32km sized moon, the iron core melts, and the underground base breaks up and falls into Jupiter.
ECCLES: As you can see they could attack from anywhere. ECCLES: I don't know, but I managed to stop an invasion of Mimas, by poisoning the underground chambers with Sarin. Obviously everybody died there. |

With that we could get inside their shells and use some of Eccles's Bio-contaminats. JT: Possibly. Galen: Not to mention that their drives leave significant amounts of quantum residue in the form of Strange Charm Quarks in 2 bonds. If they warp space time we should be able to detect those as they are moving through the space warp. Then we can fire Color cannons at it, that should upset the molecules, and possibly destroy them or stop the warp. Then fire DimTears and get rid of them. Korian: They just destroyed a monitoring probe of the FSD's! Karok: Revalations 11.18: "The nations raged, but your wrath has come, and the time for judging the dead, for rewarding your slaves, the prophers, and saints and all who fear your name, both small and great, and for destroying those who destroy the earth." Eccles: "Then the gate will close!" Peter: "Exactly! And since their homeworld is 50000 light years away, it should be quite some time before they bother us again." Eccles: "But they are so advanced... what makes you think they wont find another way back?" Galen: "The fact that they havent come before now suggests they arent as powerful as we originally thought! If we can shut down this gate, we'll only have to mop up those forces that have come through the gate thus far!" JT3: "Even mopping up, that wont be an easy task... they are so powerful - its like were fleas going up against lions." Eccles: "This plan might not even work. Even if we CAN destroy the gate, they may come some other way, now that they know we are here." Peter: "We'll deal with that when it happens. But for now... I believe destroying the gates powersource is our one slim chance! We have to try." |

Peter, you try assaulting an entire defensive fleet, it might be difficult. Flavored Tacyhons or Dimtear might stop them, but they would move out the way. Prehaps infecting their workers then attacking as they are dying? |

I've found something important about the aliens. If you cover them in molten tungsten, then wash and cover in liquid helium, repeated 10 times their exoskeleton falls off and you can pull apart the soft centre. Like pulling the wings off flies. i tested this myself, as my scientists don't appreciate the importance of torturing. He did not confess anything, but it was bloody good fun. |

Peter: If we all send as many ships as we can to begin a frontal assault on the force guarding the gate, perhaps we can sneak a few tiny ships past the battling fleets, and destroy the powersource. Eccles: Basically we keep them occupied while someone does the dirty work. Do you know how many losses we will incur in a frontal assault? JT: And who would go to disable this powersource? I want to be a part of this. Galen: Me too. If we do this, we do this together. Peter: It was never my intent to do this by myself. The Ceres Alliance has not the firepower to do this. we are a young, small faction - without your powers. No, I suggest a team composed of our seperate forces, working together to sneak past the main battle - where many of our men will die, I know it - and perhaps, working together - we may destroy this powersource, and shut down the gate. Eccles: You ask alot of us - we have our own plans. If this does not work, it is a waste of valuable men and resources. Galen: Men and resources we dont exactly have in abundance right now. If we cant stop them, we will need our forces to defend our colonies! JT3: How much do you want us to spare for this mission? Peter: As much as you can, really. We merely need to hold up and distract the Archaens fleet, while our joint team goes about its work. I myself will be putting the entirety of the Alliance's forces at the disposal of this mission. If we fail now, there isnt much hope for us. Like I sad before, I believe we HAVE to try. |

I have justmade a great discovery that will allow us to destroy them once and for all! There seems to be an alternate dimension to ours. This dimension is so close, though, that if you travel through it and come back to our dimension, you will have travelled through ours to! Also, light speed and physics are changed in this dimension. Traveling at top speed in that dimension is _many_ times faster than the speed of light here! I have had one of my fighter pilots test the speed acceleration. Using this, we can have a fleet at the Central Rim in 4 days! I have already completed three Dimensional Gates(I'll call them Dim Gates from now on) to this dimension. Send any attack forces you can spare. If we can destroy the core of this civilization, the rest will be much weaker. This could be our only chance! |

Another thing about our alien friends. Riots are impossible as any thought out of normal parameters causes instant agony. Their society seems like a very evolved nasty Brotherhood (sorry Colins). The fighting continues, they went for the penal colony on Telesto today, why they don't attack a proper colony(like Titan) I don't know. Our forces fled, and observed from a distance. No new information, except our biologic test weapon could not penetrate the hull to deploy. |

OOC Thank you, Korian. I know it's probably impossible. It's just that I was channelsurfing, saw Babylon 5(I am never watching that show again. Too boring), and noticed that "jumpgate to hyperspace" thing they have. I thought that would be really cool, especially since we don't have warp engines or anything. Plus, I wanted to send ships out that could make it to new stars and planets very quickly(an expanded version of MOO2). |

-*OOC* Sorry I haven't talked in a while, I've been busy. -*IC* We are preparing several ships to assist in the effort: (listed in order of power) AFPS FREEDOM - (INDIPENDANCE Class Star-Fighter Carrier) AFPS LOCKE - (WASHINGTON Class Battleship) AFPS SARATOGA and CONCORD - (LEXINGTON Class Destroyer) AFPS ACHILLES and HERCULES - (ACHILLES Class Heavy Cruser) Several other support ships are also being sent. Also, these ships are equiped with new alliance weapons systems that were recently discovered. Our other ships are being upgraded as we speak. These weapons should work agnist any type or sheilding or protection. First, the Anti-Matter Particle Beam, works just like a beam weapon, firing Anti-Matter paritcles at almost the speed of light, but when they hit their target, the anti-matter colides with the matter of the ship, the anti-matter anihilates the matter. We also have a version of this as a pulse weapon, which our ships and fighters have. This is all we wish to release at this time, and hope to have further devlopments ready in the future. -Ambassador Winston |

OOC Korian: It is very possible for the laws of physics to change in another dimension. In Scientific American there was an article that said it was very possible that the cosmological constant is different in different points in the universe (making in unconstant!  ). If this is possible, then why not the speed of light, especially in another dimension! Also, there was a recent article in Discover detailing how they have recently accelerated a photon (electromagnetic (light) transmitter) to slightly over the speed of light using a property called tunneling.Although this is "only" one discovery, due to the fact that it is so major, I do consider it "supermaning". It appears that JT3 has not changed as much as he has lead us to believe. |

OOC: Hey no backbiting Collins! but I agree with you thinking that the discovery was superman. I have heard of that photon experiment. I find it fascinating, but still too unsure. Lets hear no more arguing. IC: The Acheans attacked the massive colony on Delta Scorpia. They are using the same ships, and warping into different sectors after attacks. They attack orbital defences or freighters, then vanish to attack something else. The Acheans had to penetrate the complex by ground invasion. They completely destroyed the army and have set up a shipyard there. It is amazing what they can build with slaves. Can somebody help obliterate this foothold. |

Well, Collins has helped me see the seriousness of this issue, and I now agree that it is supermanning. Perhaps you could say that it didn't work after all. I don't want this alien thing to turn out to be "we developed a superde duper laser that fried their shields and armor and we took them over." It will be won by hard work. Eccles, I will immediately send you my People's Guard, who were formerly the fighting forces in the Union of Liberty. I will send the ALL of our spacefleet to destroy the shipyard, as I think it extremely important the Achaens have no foothol in our section of the galaxy. OOC Oh, ha ha, Korian. Alright, alright, fine. I'll go think up a reason why we can't use that dimension. But, will someone _please_ explain to me why this is so "superman"? I mean, if it's the speed, I guess Korian's wormhole was superman, too, because it allows instantaneous movement over short distances. If it's the dimensional part, then Klug's Faction must be one big group of supermen, since they can talk to us from their dimension. If it's the going through dimensions, then Klug, Q, and I must all be really super, because we can all do it(maybe others can do it, too. I just remember us three.). If it's the fastness of the discovery, then then there must be tons of supermen, because the wheel, guns, cars, dynamite, and _many_ other things were thought up all of a sudden. They might have taken a while to build, but they were thought up all of a sudden. Also, if you're searching through dimensions with scanners, you will find things suddenly. I said I found this dimension and sent a fighter pilot to investigate. He found that physics were changed there. I don't see what's superman about that. I'll cancel it, but I would like an explination. |

Oh, and I _have_ changed much. This is my first, that's right, _first_, discovery since I returned. I didn't think it was supermanning(read previous post) according to what had been discovered before. I'm not being invincible, either, since I lost many ships in the battle(and I am about to lose more. Stay tuned). I am not arguing quantum physics with other people. If it's an apology you want, fine. I'm sorry for creating an alternate dimension. There. For all those people who wanted an apology, there it is. |

OOC: Just dodging back up to the Eccles conversation after the last bit I did, and dodging the whole 'superman' issue. You may think its a simple easy solution, but I never said it would work IC: Reports have just come in from our colony on Pallas, the Archaen forces bombed it to the ground. Luckily, a few survivors remain underground, but for the most part, the colony is gone. Destruction seems to have been their goal, and not occupation - as they have not yet made any landing. I fear that genocide of our species may be their ultimate goal! |

*OOC* Although I haven't read the same articles Collins did, it IS feasable. Since gravity warps space-time, it is concivable that another dimension may be faster to get from point to point in ours if you can switch between them; of course it is not nessecarily so. Kind of like Hyperspace from Star Wars, just not quite so superman. *IC* |

CODE RED A massive Achean assault is heading towards the Jovian colonies. Another force is sweeping round Mercury and is heading for Luna. I need you help. (Korian will too). This attack must be to depleat our forces. But if we use superior strategy we can kill them. Withdraw forces from Delta Scorpia, it was destroyed by a sabotaged shipyard  They have 5 Mantis (manti?)and hundreds of smaller ships. My forces can hold them off, but we need help. They could turn the Jovian Satelites into bases, which we don't want! |

Noone send ships to go through the Dim Gates! It appears that dimension has some sort of Neutron destroying substance in it. When my fighter and pilot got back, they were already starting to fall apart(noone say, "that's too disgusting!"). The substance slowly destroys all neutrons it touches. This causes the atomic structure to break apart. I have bioscanned all decks and crew on my ships, and this "disease" has not spread. But, I ask noone to go into this dimension, it would be the last trip you ever made! Also, the Acheans have destroyed four Space Stations in the ring orbiting Proxima Centauri. They then retreated for unknown reasons. OOC Does that fix everything, people? |

I am temporarily withdrawing Fleet K to help defend the Sol system from the Achaen's attack. Please do not ask me to help anywhere else as the either the Achaens will be defeated or our fleet will be destroyed. Unfortunately, there are virtually no defences against starships on Luna, due to the recent fighting. We are building more and more by the second, but I doubt it will be enough. Please, send us any aid you can. Also, we are going to try and board one of the Mantis ships, so please wait for me to tell you whether the attempt has failed or succeeded before you fire on it. Someone please explain to me why that was superman. No need to get mad or anything, I would just like to know, so I can avoid it in the future. IC I'm not sure we can provide any aid, Korian. We are losing ourselves. I have lost almost one hundred fighter squadrons, 17 battle fleets, 5 Space Stations, and the planet Evknow. I have implemented the new Anti-matter Particle Beam and Star Destroyer. They work better, but I am still losing. We need a new type of sheilding that can stand more than two hits. JT3 |

The attack on the Sol system is over. We sustained heavy losses, but it appears the aliens have been beaten. We lost over 300 fighters, 4 Doomstars, out of 5, 26 Titans, out of 30, and 12 Battlecruisers, out of 15. Countless Menaces of the Vacuum were also lost. Billions of civilians died in the bombing of Luna. Our boarding of the Mantis succeeded, but we do not understand how their weapons, shields, armor, or drive works. We are also not sure how to repair the ship. I have not decided whether to allow scientists from other nations to inspect the ship. We will inform you of any breakthrough. Korian, would it be alright if I could see the sheilds and armor of the ship? I would like to test some new weapons and sheilding my scientists have been working on. We have just lost 4 more Space Stations and been bombed on Aqedu. Our losses now amount to over 19 billion people, 6 Doomstars, 20 Star Destroyers(ship, not weapon), 13 battlecruisers, 297 fighters, 9 Space Stations, and the planet Evknow. We are steadily being beaten back. We are building an Star Destroyer Cannon the size of our small base Research Lab on Aqedu. We are hoping this will be able to defend the planet, as it is our capital. We are also testing some new weapons and sheilding, I will send any breakthroughs with those. |

Luckly the Acheans attacked the Comms uplinks first, so I could harry them away. Mimas has two Craters now. One where a metorite hit, and the other when I detonated a Singularity Planet Buster. This killed 2 Billion of my people, easily cloned, but it saved the battle, the Mantis withdrew, with my forces pushing them until they duality jumped. Overall Dead: 6.2 Billion Colonists Recloned: 5 Billion Net Loss: 1.2 Billion Colonies Destroyed: Mimas, Callisto, Anake and Atlas. Ships lost: 20 Ships Produced: 10 Net Loss: 10 |

The Acheans have attacked our Small Star in the Vicinity of Betelgeus listening station. Our 2nd and 3rd fleets have gone to intercept. We beleive there are 2 Manti and 25 smaller ships, we are going to use DimTears and Chem weapons. Galen |

I think Korian has got the right idea. Our fleets won't stand up to theirs, but if we board them, we have the advantage, since we catch them off guard, they have no sheilds, and if we just barely hit them, it would be enough to kill them, as their insides fall out. I am sending some Space Marines to attack one of their small fleets. If we use this strategy, we may be able to win! |

My 2nd 3rd and 5th fleets have attacked the Achean, and driven them out. One small ship, containing 13 Acheans has been captured and is being sent to a research base which I cannot disclose the location of. My losses were "()" indicate how many there were: 3 DOOMstars (3) 9 Titans (12) 16 BattleCruisers (18) 5 DimTear Frigates (6) 314 Fighters (420) 11 Carriers (12) 13 Orbital Defense Pods (13) All orbital stations in the system (5) The colonies on Betelguese 3 were destroyed. 2.163�10^6 (�1.3�10^3) humans died. Our scientists have discovered the secret to their weapons, but nothing else. We call it "the Disruptor cannon." It fires intense bolts of energy phased in such a way as to disrupt the molecular cohesion of the target. The disruptor has such great accuracy that it almost always hits, (which I'm sure you've discovered from your battles with the aliens.) The ship captured was a Mantis ship. Also, Galen, you may not have a part of the ship. This breakthrough has made me optimistic about the abilities of my scientists, so until further notice you will not be able to look at it. Ah well, we do not need it. However, their beam must be something more than what you claim, as we have sheilds that protect us on the quantum level. I would instruct your scientists to look into it further. And as always, research is best done by many, and as we ARE better trained, it will at least assist your scientists. We have captured all of the ships(with the exception of some destroyed fighters) in the fleet surrounding Station Alpha-Beta. Their weapons do do more than what Korian has said, but he had the right idea. We cannot quite get a fix on exactly what it does, but we know it was more than what he said(no offense). Also, it appears their sheilds somehow fuse photons and quantum particles to become unbelievably strong. This Phontum Sheild, as we call it, can stand up to many hits of Electrophoton, Anti-Matter Particle, and Star Destroyer hits before falling(as you have probably noticed). We have not been able to duplicate it yet. The drive is a duality jump system, which is basicly a more advanced version of the Blink Generator. It can instantly transport the ship over long distances in space. It appears to also have a sort of hyperdrive system which can go many times the speed of light, although we need more testing before it can be confirmed. We will keep you updated with any releasable information. |

Our scientists have recently discovered the reason for the large shaft between the power source and the beam emitter. It is used to increase exponententially the force of the beam, so the energy actually disrupts sub sub sub quantum particles. I think we should asseble an attack fleet asap. Also, the election results are in. I have recently been elected President of the Federated States of Democracy. After tomorow, the name Governor Korian will be obselete and I will be known as President Korian. It does not make sense that you can combine matter and energy without the transformation of one of them to the form of the other beforehand, such as what occurs often near the event horizon of black holes. We tried to disrupt the quantum interactions, but that failed, so there is something, somehow, even deeper. We don't understand at all, but it is true. We hypothesize that this may be higher dimensional in nature. Nonetheless, we are confident that the Acheans themselves are susceptible to our bioweapons. If only that could be transmitted...
