When Hugo Rune pointed out that the "Tip of the Day" on the front page of Firaxis Games' site was a repeat this is what the webmaster said:
"Quite simply, I ran out of tips, and everyone is so busy with Alien Crossfire and Antietam! that I can't really pester them for new ones.
I have a smashing idea. How about I start a new thread on the Site Forum for user-contributed tips?
Anyone who wants to submit them will receive a firm pat on the back and a thank you from me =)

Moi, Firaxian? Nope, I have a real job. I just wanted to spread the word in the appropriate forum that Dan Magaha is looking for Firaxis Gaming tips from the public. Look for the Topic under "The Site" forum.

I wondered what the quotation marks were for after the address thingy...I didn't notice the ones at the beginning.
And why you didn't have "FIRAXIS" after your name.
Still, for a moment I had hope. Now it's gone. (Excuse me, but tradition demands I say the following)
"Thank you for shattering my comfortable illusion of reality."

You know, Beta1, some of us very much enjoy Alpha Centauri, and some of us (I for one) are sick of seeing posts from people trash-talking it.
This forum is dedicated to discussing Strategies for playing the game. Occasionally it falls into humor threads like these.
If you really think uninstalling the game is the best thing for you to do, do it. Say so over in the "The Game" forum. All they do there is gripe about "bugs" anyway.

(pinch_of_salt.sys works quite well to)
