posted 07-26-99 01:34 AM ET I was transporting an artifact recently and noticed that, when I went to automate the transport, the computer told me which port cities had unlinked nodes. Is there a quick way to find out (or any way, for that matter) what network nodes are unlinked? I s'pose I could create a land-transport and do the same trick, but I thought I'd ask here to see what you collectively thought out. Thanks in advance!

a linked network node is one that has already had an artifact used with it. each base can only have one artifact linked to it once unless that base pocesses one of the SP's (i forgot which one, look through the datalinks for it) that lets an unlimited number of artifacts to be linked to it.

When your artifact is active, press 'G' for 'go to'. A list of sities will appear listing them linked or unlinked.

If your res is high enough, the words appear as follows for your network nodes in the city screen:
Network Node (Unlinked) Network Node (Linked)
