I searched about for info on my problem, but couldn't find any; I hope someone can help me.

I hate the design workshop; I've always had trouble with it. Could someone tell me how to instantly upgrade all of my existing units to a newer model (i.e. all my terraformers to fungicidal tfs). I've seen the little window pop up occasionally in the past, but I can't summon it up when I need it.

Oh, and if anyone has any design workshop tips, I could use 'em. It gives me nothing but grief.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Yeah the design workshop sucks. But that is what you need to upgrade all of your units at once. First create fungicidal formers in your workshop. Hit apply. Make sure your old version formers are still on the list if not, then create it and hit apply. I just use the pictures, that bar on the bottom is annoying. Once you have both versions created in the workshop click on the old version then click the upgrade button. A window will pop up saying how much it costs. Make sure your old version design has the same reactor as all of the formers you want to upgrade.

Or you can do it individually using ctrl-u. Just make sure the new design is already created in the workshop. Unless you use auto design.
