Is there a way, so you can make it to get roughly about 1 tech every 1-2 yrs? I've tried all combos.. but It just don't work. Is this possible?

hell ya int, ive been in games where i was getting three techs a turn. Try building a tech city, just look for a topic with the name "tech city". Other times it is just as smart to improve economy (energy, energy, energy!) through SE as research.~kelso good luck! |

You need a good tech city, and have fusion labs in most of your other cities it shouldn't be a problem. Just don't expect to get this in the first 100 years. |

Have crawlers bring more energy in from mirror farms/boreholes to the tech city. Try to build the supercollider & theory of everything there too. |

If you already have Secrets of Alpha Centauri, you can get high research rates by building very big cities. Every citizien over pop 21 will be a transcendent, adding 4 energy to research. |

The only trouble with this, is that by the time you can research several techs per turn, all you have to look forward to are boring Future Techs. At least in MOO2, the first five Hyper Techs in some categories miniaturised your weapons and shields and made them cheaper. Why didn't Firaxis think of that? (I have already suggested they hire Steve Barcia and Ken Burd.)
