I have a question on "population boom" early in the game. I must be missing something. Why is it that when I try to get an early boom to increase the population in all of my bases, it works on some bases, but not others? Playing as UOP in my current game I switched the social engineering setting to Demo/Planned which gave +4 growth, and had built Creches in every base which SHOULD cause pop. boom. It worked in one base which shot up to size ten from size five in five turns, but the other bases either went up one or two pop levels or just sat there with no effect at all. I had the hab complex or whatever its called, there was plenty of nutrients available, why did it work in some bases, but not the others? What am I missing here? Help!

Maybe you're playing on easy difficult level. I know that on that level some things don't work the way they're suppose to.P.S. Where are you from, Drago ? oki |

To keep your cities booming, your must have at least two extra nutrients in your city's resourse display. If there is only one extra nutrient, your city will grow normally.Try moving your workers to more nutrient rich squares. |
