posted 06-27-99 03:42 PM ET I rarely conduct many wars before I get hunter seeker algorithm (A must for me). But I was playing the Zakharov2171 scenario from aceplayers website and noticed when the gaians mind controlled a base I conquered from her, all of my units adjacent to the base went into her control as well. Even though they weren't supported by that base in question. Doesn't seem right that she gets half of my army for the price of mind controlling one base. I know I'm bitchin', but that's a lot of units to take in one fatal swoop.

Perhaps it takes all units within the radius, as well as supported units?

That's what I was thinking. It's a feature. It will mind control all units adjacent to the city along with the ones inside the city no matter what city they are supported from.

Same as good old Civ2. Units adjacent to the bribed city will also be converted, which is a parallel to the way a nuke destroyed all the units adjacent to the target square.

Thanks guys. I never bribed cities in civ2 or smac. They always tell me some ridiculus amount of money is needed. It's cheaper just to blast them with needlejets and infantry. Or howitzers in civ2 (the ultimate city blaster).
