A minor little trick, borderline cheat, that works fairly well with Spoils of War on:

Take an enemy base with something with lots of moves. Sea units are good for this. Move out of the base. Offer the base back to the enemy to end a Vendetta, then refuse the Truce. Rinse, repeat, pick up tech, credits, and eventually destroy the base, if that's what you're after.

I like it. And also useful for polishing off those pesky bases your enemies put right on your coast.

That sounds pretty good, but the enemy won't always respond to your Transmissions.

I also discovered this trick by accident, but I use a unit with drop facilty, which may result in countless conquers in one turn!! The trick:
Destroy all enemies inside base (missiles will do), destroy Aerospace Complex (probe teams!) so drop unit can land near base. Conquer base. Commlink will activate or do it yourself, return base to enemy (trade land for peace) and reject Truce (again Vendetta or maybe even surrender). Return to drop unit (if it used up all moves, it still can drop even if it can not be "selected" i.e. it will not blink: press icon of unit in base square it returned to and through right mouse click on enemey base select drop) and the trick repeats all over.
Note: If commlink does not answer anymore and you do not want the base, give it to a Pact brother as a good gesture. If enemy re-conquers base he will not receive any expensive tech or energy from you.
The only time I play this trick is to conquer techs in the early game (further on I'm usually tech-leader) and to minimize enemy base to 1 and eventually to zero (bye bye).

P.S.: This trick will only work without Solar Shade as commlink is essential!!
P.S.2: Do not forget to scrap and recycle a base facility (once per turn) to receive those lovely energy credits.

Any other "tricks" as these available ??. BTW trick Ctrl-S and Ctrl-L is NOT a trick but cheating and so not worth mentioning.
