i just got the game yesterday and could someone tell me how to build a building, i really suck at the game so could someone plz. help me out.

1 Read your manual! Pg 46 onwards
2 work thru the tours
3 activate your govenors
PS double click on your city to start with.

double click city
double click lower left hand box (this shows what you are building now) menu of possible buld items comes up.
double click required unit/building
you can also double click the production queue at the side if you wish to set stuff up for building after.
