In a game I am playing, one of my city has no minerals to build anything. I've had formers build an mine or two, adjacent to the city, but to no avail. Any way to fix it????

You have to assign some workers to work the squares. Look at the map, is there a map square with some resources? Click on it, and reassign it to a different square.

Some settings give you more "free mineral support for units" than others. You use one mineral for every unit your base supports above your free limit.

You can select a unit you no longer need and order them to disband. Then you can use that mineral for something else. You can also move a unit to another base, then right click on them and select "set as home base" command to make that base responsible for the one mineral per turn upkeep on the unit.

If an enemy, or even an opponent you are at blood truce with, has a unit on the square that you are harvesting resources from, you can no longer access it until they move. If you can only get 4 minerals, and you need 7 to support your unit, then 3 of the units will disband without any warning. Make sure those you are at blood truce with don't leave units in your territory, especially on top of your mines.

To get a free mineral without terrain enhancements-build a recycling tanks or pressure dome. Later you can build the Genejack Factory.
