I'm in a game running the 3.0 patch and I'm building infantry that move two.

Is there some rule I'm overlooking in the manual, is it a bug, or are they hopped up on crack?

Check morale. Any unit on elite has 1 extra move. (Or so I've found).

Oh, that's it. I've been reading the manual while I've been in **ahem** strategy sessions on my throne **ahem**, and must have overlooked that.

You haven't seen fun until you get Anti-Grav struts. With Grav feature, an elite infantry is now at 3 movement points. That means infantry can now retreat from other infantry units, and even some speeders.

And a GravBlink Singularity Hovertank really makes those high tech wars simple. 5 movement points and no defense can stand in its way.
