What it means: Empath Guild give you a spy in each faction ? i cannot find any probe teams or something like that after finishing the SP Empath Guild. Maybe every spy is virtual and is the reason to get the comm freq of a faction . Who as experience with this spy ?

When you build the Empath Guild, you (A) get every faction's Comlink frequency. (B) get extra votes for Gov./Leader, and (C) get an Infiltrator in every faction. The Infiltrator means you can exam other factions' bases, see what they're researching, etc. The effect is the same as if you move a Probe Team into an enemy base and choose "Infiltrate Datalinks."

I had the same problem. I was looking for a infiltrate option in my menu. I don't know how to describe this, there are icons that you can select after geting infiltration to change your view to that of the other factions... I hope someone can explain it better. The icons are similar to and near the icons that change between city, wonder, satalite, etc views...

Put it this way, with datalink infiltration, you can look at other factions' stats and cities the exact same way you look at your own. In the HQ menu, the default setting is your own faction [biggest symbol in a horizontal section in the center, under the main screen]. By clicking on the other symbols [one for each faction], you can view the same stats you just checked on your own faction, but for other factions.
For example, you may want to see how many copters you currently have in stock. Hit F7, and you can scroll down and check. While you're on the same screen, click on the symbol for the Hive, and you can check out whether Yang has built any copters himself. That's the beauty of datalink infiltration.
You can also click on the other faction's cities to check out the garrison, city improvements, etc...

he guys !! You do not tell me anything new. I know what it means "datalink infiltration". plato90s has explained it very good. But my problem is: IT DOESN'T WORK !! What the hell is going on ? I cannot open another faction's base like mine to look what's going on there, i don't have other symbols in the HQ-screens, except these from my war-brothers. nothing has changed. Maybe it's important for you to know, that there was a sunspot when i got the empath guild. but that's not all. here is the BIG BANG: meanwhile i have become governeur. and when somebody become a governeur he becomes i spy in each faction, too. now i thought i can see ALL datalinks. But i can see the same like before not more and not less. maybe a bug in 2.0 ?? do i have made a mistake or what ? do i have to develop a tech to get this ****in spy ???

Yes, a bug in 2.0, which is fixed in 3.0. If you don't have the US or Pacific or UK version of SMAC, then I sadly suppose you'll just have to wait until they get the German, French, or whatever version of 3.0 made.
