Say I've stacked a bunch of units on the same square and I want them all to Hold. Is there a quick way to do this? Currently, I have to select each of them and hit "H", this is very frustrating. Can someone help?I come from the Starcraft RTS genre, and this TBS game is very refreshing to me. I love it so far! - null

Beware of too much stacking. The first time you get hit with collateral damage you'll know what I mean. As for your question...I "think" that's the way to do it. In cities, however, I hit "L" so if a mindworm comes next door it activates the garrison and you don't forget to attack it before your turn ends. |

I don't think there are any other way, than that (and then open the window, ehere they are all displayed, rightclick on every single unit and pick hold, but this is even more tiresome!).Woodelf, in bunkers, it is a very good idea to have lots of units stacked, so they are ready for hitting the city at the same time. |

Panther - no collateral in bunkers? I rarely use them admittedly. |

What about the assemble group command? Does that work? pse |

Yes. Niente collateral in bunkers (otherwise, I couldn't see that much of a point in 'em, you could just place your units in rocky areas. It is (I think a pretty good idea to launch a former, and an autorepairing transporter along with your army). It wil work as if you have your own moving city. |

Another problem with stacking units is that if you have a lot of them, keeping tack of them gets a little confusing. The icons get really small when the pop-up window showing every unit on that square appears. |
