why o why do i keep being attacked by loads of mind worms. What can i do to stop the attackes. They are destroying all my bases.

heh i've had this problem myself, the needlejets are cool against the worms.
but it's the trance sentinels with psi attack and armor you want.
and that secret project that gives you +50% psi defense, i think it's name is the neural amplifier.
of course, if you're still in the middle or early in the game you should just produce mass trance sentinels or needlejets.

I have no idea what level you are playing or how far into to the game you are, but think about it for a second...WE are the aliens here, not them. They'te attacking us to save THEIR world. Put up sensors for early detection, put your garrison on "L" so they'll become active when worms are spotted nearby, and remove the fungus with formers.
As you progress further into the game [which you may be already] and your ECO damage escalates they mass attack to protect their home. Build base enhancements to lessen this damage and patrol your land in earnest.

First, Clear ALL the fungus away from your bases, Build 1 r 2 empath trained choppers in each city, when a boil appears, go kill it.. u can kill them all at once. Except for locust of chiron, u have to kill those seperately.
