after i've noticed a few stories i thought i could post one as well, since i have quite a few interesting world domination adventures behind me:-)

faction: the hive

Year 2213
Our ruthless and glorious faction has colonized most of the south-east Asia.
The gaians have settlet themselves in the north-west Asia, and their status with us is a treaty of friendship.
The UoP have a seat of operations in Scandinavia and have colonized entire Europe, stretching their territory into the Gaian. They are also our pact brothers.
The Morganites have established their empire in the north-east Africa and the Indian sub-peninsula.
The Believers are spreading accross the surface of Australia and New Zealand, with their sea bases number growing increasingly.
The Spartans are dominating the north America and building up their army.
The Peacekeepers are building up special projects in the south America, being in a pact brotherhood with the Hive.
Year 2216
As the tensions rose between the factions it surely had to blow up somewhere.
This year, the Spartans have pronounced vendetta upon the Peackeepers. Our high command fears that this might have drastic effect on the Hive/Gaian relations, since the Peacekeepers are our pact brothers, and the Spartans and Gaians have a very strong pact sisterhood.
Year 2217
Brother Lal of the Peacekeepers has called upon our honour and we have assured him we will mobilize our troops in order to help him defend against the Spartan aggressors.
The vendetta upon the Spartans has been pronounced.
No word from the Gaians yet. Though we are expecting it very soon. The high command has decided to load a cruiser transport with 8 fusion squad units and send it to the exposed Peacekeeping bases.
In the meanwhile, the Believers are growing at an alarming rate, we fear they might get too close to our borders.
Year 2221
The wait has ended. The Gaians have pronounced vendetta upon us, mobilizing their decent military force toward our bordering cities. The high command is thinking of ways to eliminate the Gaian threat, in the meanwhile, every city's industries have been modified to build the newest war machinery.
The cursed fate has also shown it's fangs in the Morganites pronouncing vendetta upon the Hive.
We are trying to persuade the well-developed University of the Planet to aid us in this war, their military might is formidable.
The military aid for the Peacekeepers has arrived just in time to defend the UN Refugee against an overwhelming force of Spartan combined strike with needlejets and fusion rovers.
Year 2229
The UN Refugee base has been lost to the Spartan forces. The Peacekeepers are losing base after base to the well organized Spartan strikes. All of our 8 fusion squads have been lost to the Spartan needlejets.
We fear that the Peacekeeprs will surely fall to the Spartans, as we can not afford to send any other military or monetary aid, but our technological breakthroughs.
The Gaians and the Morganites are pressing us hard at the borders.
The high command has succeeded in persuading Prokhor Zakharov of the UeP to pronounce vendetta upon the Morganites and the Gaians by threatning to otherwise cancel our pact of Brotherhood.
Now the tides of war will surely turn to our favor.
Year 2247
The Spartan-Peacekeeping war has ended with a blood truce between the factions. The Peacekeepers are on their knees now, though, and it is only a matter of time when the paranoid colonel Santiago breaks the treaty and launches the killing blow.
We will try to reinforce the Peacekeeping positions by then.
The UeP is waging a merciless war upon the Morganites accross the deserts of north Africa.
Probably this was the reason the Morganites have asked for a blood truce, which our high command swiftly denied.
Our northern borders are being guarded by some 10 penetrators, and additional 5 interceptors. The Gaian ground invasion units stand no chance against us now.
The Believers have pronounced vendetta upon us, but since they are not directly connected to our peninsula, they pose no serious threat.
Year 2259
As expected, the Spartans have attacked the Peacekeepers again. Despite our reinforcement which consisted of 4 chaos needlejets and 8 chaos invaders, they have pushed deep into the Peacekeeping territory, with leaving just 4 cities to the Peacekeepers. Their days are counted.
The Morganites have been defeated by the intense strikes of both our faction and the UoP!! We have taken control of 7 Morgan bases. Morgan himself was captured by the Hive, and is now interrogated by the high command.
Our war with the Gaians is not proceeding as well, though. They have built a force of interceptors, and our penetrators have suffered serious losses. The Gaian ground troops are nearing our border cities again.
The Society Grid has been almost taken once, but thanx to the brave defenders they have failed.
We hope that the UoP will now strike at the Gaians as they did at the Morganites before.
Year 2276
Our pact brothers, the Peacekeepers, have been eradicated by the Spartan Federation, despite our back up in the south America and the Peacekeeping bases.
The UoP has succeeded in breaking the north-west Gaian resistance, as the Gaians were already preoccupied by our forces now moving into their territory.
Year 2334
The Gaian resistance has been completely demolished.
It is only a matter of time when they will be subdued by either ourselves or the UoP.
The Spartans are now sitting on their empire, waiting for an appropriate moment to strike.
The Believers have pronounced vendetta upon them, though, and are landing their units. Although they are technologically not as developed, they have caused some trouble to the Spartans.
Year 2378
The Gaian resistance has been broken. They are no more.
The University of Planet has pronounced vendetta upon us!!!!!!
We have immediatly launched an offensive from our bases in India, and are now proceeding with satisfactory, as the UoP bases are falling unprepared.
Year 2389
The UoP is striking over our north-west border in Siberia.
The situation is critical as their massive forces are gathering to strike hard.
Our forces have been successful in the north Africa, as the UoP obviously did not expect us to strike there. We have penetrated their defenses all the way to their base of operations in the heart of the Europe!
This war will surely be a deciesive one.

The backbone of the UoP might, their flourishing cities in Europe, have all succumbed to the effects of our brave drop shard squads!!! They are as much as dead!
The air corps have been produced massively in our Siberian outposts to defend against the UoP there.
The Spartan and Believing fleets have been clashing just in front of our front door.
Year 2429
The UoP has been overwhelmed and their bases are ours now.
Our faction now counts no less than 63 cities!
The Believers and the Spartans have signed a treaty of friendship!!!
Year 2479
Our forces have reinforced their loosened lines since the hard wars in the past.
We have launched a large-scale offensive against the Spartans over the siberian plains.
Year 2501
The north America has been conquered from the spartans!
The first planet buster landed in the middle of the Believing territory. 3 cities completely demolished.
Year 2516
Heavy battles going on on the gateway of south America. The second wave of invaders is on their way now.
More planet busters have landed on the Believing territory.
The Believers have been transporting their units to our peninsula, but they all got demolished by the defenders. They seriously lack technology neccessary to invade a strong faction!
Year 2534
We have been pushed back from the south America by the Spartans!
Global warming is causing the sea levels to rise dramatically!!!
Year 2562
The Spartans have retaken 2 of their lower north american bases with drop squads!
The Believers have stopped with the aggression for now.
Year 2601
The global warming has reduced the continets to nothing else but a pile of islands.
The link between north and south America has been drowned!
Year 2609
All of our cities are now producing massive fleets.
Of all the continents, only the Tibet part of the Asia is still above the water!
Year 2644
The Believers have been conquered by our great fleets of cruisers and destroyers.
Year 2646
The Spartans have also succumbed to our sea power!
Year 2647
Our faction is victorious!

All these experts are saying WWIII would only last a few months(with nukes and all), but you've proven them wrong with that 400 year war
Very cool story. The closest one to that is what I call the 'Freedom Wars'. It was where the two democracies-me(as the Spartans) and Lal- took on The Believers and The Hive. I still remember the initial stages of the Hive invasion. Only 3 cities in our hands, out of their dozens, and we were holding on by our fingernails. It was only my elite troops which were able to push on. My hovertanks then launches their offensive capturing a city ever three turns, then every two turns, then one every turn, then 2 every turn, and finally, by wars end, we captured 5 cities in one turn. By some stroke of luck, the Believers and the Hive were connected in a small area by an archipelago. I poored troops across the border to the two main Believer areas. The southern area was quickly captured, while the navy made quick work of the sea bases. The northern attack didn't do as well, so we obliterated ALL the southern bases and advanced north. Then we pushed the Believers back to their new capital at Redemption Base(New Jerusalem had been captured in a lucky amphbious/helicopter attack). The war was over...But at a great cost. Many improvements I had built were destroyed by the Believers, and I lost many units in this great crusade. But I felt good, now that the world was safe for democracy.
