I got some troubles when I tried to change features of my units. For instance, I can select a weapon to replace a former one on a unit, but it will not really create a self-made unit. In fact, the problem is that the new unit appears on the bottom of the screen but I cannot put it in a queue to build it.
Thank you for helping a poor French-speaking Belgian.

After you have made the changes you want, make sure you click on "Apply" if you are doing other things in the Workshop, or click on "Done" when you exit. Otherwise the changes won't remain. Also, make sure your new unit has a name that is different from the one you are modifying. It should do this automatically, at the very least adding "Mk2" to the end of the original name, but check to be sure. There are also a limited number of slots available for units. If you have too many, the new unit won't show up. Try marking some units "Obsolete." This will clear space, but won't change active units of that type, whereas "Retire" will disband all units of that type, and "Upgrade" will only work if you pay the cost to change all units of that type to the new type.
