I've read multiple posts of people getting 30+ population a base. How do you support all those people? I can barely support 14 or 15. Any advice would be appreciated.

Simple, use orbital facilities and supply crawlers.

My trick is to get SP Cloning Vats, then, if you have a llot of money, buy Hab Comlexes & Domes at all your bases, and then just keep build Sky Hydroponics Lab Orbitals

If you plant forests anywhere remember to build Tree Farms and Hybrid Forest. A +3 Nutrients(?) from every square really helps a lot. Until you can buil the Cloning Vats have your SE set to Democracy/Planned and build a Childrens Creche.
Resently I have tried sending Sea Formers + some Supply Foils around the oceans looking for those Nutrient bonuses. It seems to work although it is expencive. But hey try it.
