I keep getting one of my periferal bases inflitrated by probes, over and over again. How can they be stopped? Also, I have a "ton" of rovers, etc that were set on auto by a Govenor(s). It hard to figure out what city they started in, and even harder to get them to a spot where I can use them in battle. Any help would be appreciated!

Hunter-Seeker SP is the best way to stop probe activity. With this, any probe attempt against you results in the destruction of the enemy probe team including attempts to convert your troops. If you cant get Hunter Seeker, put probes in your cities. Enemy probes must defeat your probes before they can engage in clandestine activity. |

Another good idea is to build some probe killer/bomber/antiaircraft planes. This would be a plane with your least expensive weapon, with deep radar and air defense special abilities. They are a bit expensive, but they can be used at least 4 different ways. #1 they are great for finding and killing probe teams. #2 They can destroy the roads that the probe teams use to get to your cities, and any other improvements as well. #3 they can of course shoot down enemy aircraft. #4 They provide air cover for ground forces. #5 After they have been in service a while they will build up to a high morale level, and will pay for themselves in the long run by killing those nasty mindworms. And you can continually upgrade them with better weapons if you wish, so they can attack ground troops too. I have found them to be a very cost effective unit. And my strategy would be to let an enemy build the Hunter Seeker secret project, then take that city. Its cheaper that way, and more fun too. I usually only build the science SPs so they can all be in the same city, and create a super science city. Otherwise I just build troops, and let the enemy waste their resources building SP's for me. |

How do you know which enemy city is building or has built a secret project?

In a lot more words, click the menu button, then go to HQ, then choose secret project data. |
