Where is the topic or section dealing with customization or Alpha Centauri (basically equal to scneario and modpack building in Civ2).
If there isn't one, perhaps Firaxis could create a topic?
If not that, then why not post thousands of replies in this area ;)?

There are many topics in the Ideas for SMAC forum that deal with customization. They have custom or customization in the title. If you can not see them adjust how far you look back in the forum to all posts within the last year.
