I just went through the effort of downloading the new images for the 'new look' of the site, and thought of an idea. Mr. Ely, would it be possible for you to zip all of the publicly-available .HTM, .GIF, and .JPG images at this site, and make that .ZIP file available for download? (One refinement to keep the filesize down, and encourage visits to the 'live' site: Do not include the Gallery or 'Background' images, or the 'Forum'.) This would also make it possible for people to view the site offline - and, eventually, while playing SMAC offline. It could be updated as often or as little as you desire, encouraging traffic to the site. |

Great idea. This would save people at lot of time and keep the site loads down as well. |

Of course, I recently got a cable modem so this site now zooms for me...so looking at it all "live" is just fine and dandy... ScottSPM - Sitting on the Cutting Edge of Technology yet again... :-> |
