It says on the Firaxis site that Alien Crossfire will require Alpha Centauri. I am currently running Alpha Centauri with the latest patch installed but am about to transfer to another computer. Will I need to install Alpha Centauri AND the last patch (which will be a pain to transfer or re-download) to get the best from Alien Crossfire or will installing Alien Crossfire make alterations to the Alpha Centauri files to bring that install up to that of the latest patch. Or even beyond? |

You won't need anything besides the original retail box and Alien Crossfire. The addon allows you to play "classic" smac, which is circa v4. jkm firaxis games |

I have the SMAC CD, but not the box. Will Alien Crossfire still be able to install? |

Maybe you need the Bar code number or something, which would be unreasonable for reasons which don't need going into at the moment. SP +1 |
