Okay, here's one thing that bugs me. How come SMAC labels the Hunter-Seeker Alogorithm, the Weather Paradigm, The Space Elevator, etc. Secret Projects? These undertakings have to be the least secret things about the game. Even before I have comm-links with other factions, or even know where those factions are located, I get told who's building the Projects, I can find out what base is building them, and am even advised as to when they're nearing completion. I can also discern the precise effect of the project on the other factions or mine. What's so secret about this? Aren't they really special projects?
