Does anyone else think they used a new weapon in the episode? That weapon that was used on the ship sound sorta like a lightning bolt(or something like that)that heats up the air above the target. This sounds VERY unlike any of the original game's weapons that are avalible in the early game. I think this takes place in the early game beacause there have been refrences to facts like all there effert being put into survival(like at the begining of the game)and the man that was watching the ship "didn't even know Zakharov had 3 ships". What do you think? |

I think you're right about it being early in the game. It'll be interesting to see what the pirate faction will be like to play. Will it have absolute command of the sea and some sort of land/air penalty. How far are they going to take the whole pirate idea, will you be able to loot other ships and coastal villages.... (kinda like a probe team bonus for stealing energy credits....) |

Looks to me that it is a new weapon, probably one of the new weapons that the expansion will add. |

nah.. not TM of religion anymore.. that was a one time thing, while Stefu was away... As for the Piratical faction, I imagine that their bonus will not just be combat, but some kind of "privateer" ability... from the story, it loks that they're trying to steal the cargo, rather than kill people. Hrm... maybe a amphibious ability for all land units? Would make snese in terms of invasions and attacking land bases.... |
