Clearly the growing number of beta testers is a good thing. Although it sounds like the bigger issues are at the alpha level, but that's for another thread.
However, I applaud Firaxis for doing this sort of thing. It's a move in EXACTLY the right direction. Keep expanding like this guys.

I applaud Firaxis and JKM for the mailbag idea... it is a move in the right direction. Keep it up guys!!!
In one of the answers JKM referred to EAs extensive bug database. How can we get bugs added to this database?? Yin is constructing a list of known, major bugs that exist as of version 4. I think that his list needs to be added to that database.

This is a question for JKM:
I see that you are expanding your beta test for Alien Crossfire. I figure that instead of just sitting here complaining, I would like to help with the Alien Crossfire effort. Is there any chance that I could get onto the Alien Crossfire beta team. I have beta tested before, I'm a software engineer by trade, and I'm a SMAC "power player".
If anyone from Firaxis sees this, my email address is part of the UBB system.
Thanks, Rob

RLMULLEN,
Jeff Morris called for more beta testers a while ago at: http://www.firaxis.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ultimate.cgi
If you want your posts to be read by Firaxians in a timely manner I believe that you should post in those forums or email Jeff directly.
