I've just been poking around the forums for Age of Wonders and Babylon 5: Into the Fire. I must say that the developers of those two projects post more on those forums in one week, than FurXs has posted here since the game came out. I am serious!

Heck, the B5ers are even posting .PLAN files. Text files that show what they are working on plus accomplishments, plus whatever other fun stuff they want. Talk about openess!

This makes me a little bummed. Not that I am disappointed. FurXs has never raised expectations about interacting with their customers and fans.

I guess I just wish we could all get along and interact in the positive (mostly) manner I've seen on these other sites.

But, truth be told. I gave up on any kind of significant interaction long ago.

That's just sad.

Oh well ...

tfs99, I too have spent a good deal of my time over at the forum for Age of Wonders and not only am I impressed with the development of the game I am impressed by the communication of the programmers.

They are human, they are excited about their product, they don't seem to think they are "god's gift to gamers", but at the same time they have faith in their ideas being popular.

At least as far as the forums go the folks at Triumph Studios are everything that Firaxis is not.

Would you mind giving a poor, lazy soul the URL's of those two sites? I am especially intrigued by the Babylon5 game -- if it stands half as high above the crowd as did the show of the same name, then it is destined for greatness.
