I've just recently won my first game--Am I the only one who was disappointed in the lack of a Reward Movie? I mean...you get one for designing a new secret project, but global domination gets you an epilogue text screen? I expected to see armed warriors parading down the streets amid ticker-tape! Instead...
Shucks...Maybe I just expect too much from life...

Following in the great Civ and Civ2 traditions, there is only a movie for the "Peaceful" ending... Transcendance. Since Economic, Diplomatic, and Coop Victories were all added in at the last second (After Beta Tester feedback), none of those have a end film.
It would be great to have an end movie for Economic and Diplomatic at least. Conquest probably won't ever get one from them though... too easy.

Conquest is too easy but Diplomatic isn't? Huh? In my experience, a Diplomatic victory is what you take when you're so dominant that Conquest is assured, but you don't want to take the time to grind it out.

Well Rex... I have to agree with you. I GENERALLY take the Diplo when I don't feel like crushing everyone to the last base. But I had just finished a game of MOO2 a little earlier today, and it had me thinking of that Diplo victory I won a while back in SMAC... I won it by bribing 5 other factions to vote for me (I needed EVERY vote available to do it). THAT was a hard one victory for me.
If they were all like that... yeah. But Diplo REALLY aught to have a movie... It always did in Master Of Orion (1 and 2). Both cool. And yes, I KNOW that was SimTex...
Simplicity - Diplo. Easily done when in the Conquerors seat (most of the time).
