Author Topic:   FIRAXIS - TELL US THE DAMN PLANET RATING PLEASE!!

+3 Planet does not yield 75% capture for mind worms. +1 Planet always gives you the first worm for free (sometimes the first 2-3, although maybe I'm on a lucky streak). And planet increases your Psi Combat when on attack (and only on attack...). But doesn't seem to affect environmental damage, at least not to an extent worthy of "!!!".
It would be nice if you updated the help file when patching the game. That's what it's there for, surely. But right now, all I want to know is the definitive version, i.e what's actually in the code, for the effects of planet on your faction. Please answer.

Yeah, this would actually be really interesting. Strange so few have brought this one up... So, Firaxis, tell us the damn rating!

I think the 75% lowers when you controls 2, 3 or more worms as is stated in another thread. I think also difficulty level is a factor. I've always played TI games but in a PBEM I'm playing at librarian and I've got the first 5 worms controlled (maybe just luck but...).
The environmental damage does change when I switch to green from FM but maybe is the negative score of planet that worsen it. Sure Firaxis can share some info on this, or it is a secret?
I'm playing with 2.0 patch still so I don't know if something changed in 3.0 or 4.0.
