There's some kind of emulator out there called wine. It lets you run Win32 apps in Linux. I haven't even downloaded it or tried any programs, and the results depend highly on the app, but it might be a way to avoid paying again.As far as native Linux, paying again is guaranteed, unless you find/steal/acquire the source and port it yourself. Again, this is something I wouldn't know much about. I only got Linux 3 weeks ago. Compare this to the time it's been out, and there's alot of ground to cover. Check www.winehq.com. |
