HALO!!
Read a couple of threads here but the game is still proving too much for me to take it Any great pointers out there for me??

Do the long search, and locate the TI (Transcend Ironmen) threads. Check those. That is some of the best players posting thoughts about game, strategies, and ways to improve the game, gameplay or balance.
Aside from that, play the easiest level, expand a lot, and have fun.
