I give up. The scenario editor sucks. I was sittin there playing Final Fantasy 7 and I thought it would be cool to make the map from that game. So I did. Everything was cool at first. Until I screwed up. Luckily, I had saved a few seconds before. I load the map and remake the river. All of a sudden everything is underwater and I'm pissed. So I reload the map and save it as a scenario and go to play it. Brother Lal, as always, died. I gave him three Colony Pods. How the hell did he die in four turns? So I figured I would play it as a regular game. I loaded the map and started to play only to realize I was stuck on a very small island I never made. So was everybody else. I said screw this and deleted everything to do with that stupid scenario. I don't even know if I'm making the scenario right. What is up with this? Has anybody else ever made their own "working" scenario. Please tell me what you did to get it to work.

Were you stuck like I was? I made a small island that had enough space for everyone to build two cities. I ended up going to an island an my city was a sea colony. And everyone else just died at the beggining; I had to cheat to bring them back to life. And no one wanted to (what was that called again? That proposal that you can turn sea into land? The land riser?) vote for it. I decided to use my ultra large city to kill everyone who disagreed; that meant everyone! And the worst part about this is that unlike Civ2, you can't put starting locations.

Yeah. It sucks. All of the people die and it ruins the game and not a single person knows what the hell is going on. People just keep telling me to do stuff that I have no idea what they are talking about because I have only had the game since June and am still playing on Citizen and Specialist. I'm sick of it. If people are gonna tell me something the need to specify exactly how you go about doing that. If I had played the game nearly as much as them, I probably wouldn't have this problem. But, unfortunately, I haven't had the game very long and don't know how to fix it.

try one of my scenarios. they are hard but well balanced for single player.
