does anybody here know how to make magtubes? I have the technology thingo for it like it said I needed , but i can't figure it out.

Just go onto a road square with a former and hit "R" or whatever key is assigned to build a road. The former should start building the tube

you can also do it off the right-click menu. "Build mag tube to:" and choose the destination. Given that sort of specific task, the formers work well on autopilot.
