Everyone here is a fan of turn based empire building strategy games. Is that fair to say? Firaxis latest effort comes with the four principles of Explore, Discover, Build and Conquer plastered across the box. Is it any surprise, therefore, that once we have filled one forum used up the mental resources of its posters and tested the hard drives of its servers to the full, that we want to Explore the internet Discover new forums, Build our old homely threads and Conquer the new forum. I don't think so.There have been many colonies wending their way to new pastures. The Apolyton colony led by Yin, they set up wish list production facilities and have recently harvested their first crop. The Firaxis colonists. A few of the oldest vets return to the home forum to see out their retirement. They sit and reminis about old civil war battles and chatter inanely. The ACOL colonists headed by MichaeltheGreat are the latest to leave. Taking with them a great hunger for change and a newbie passion for posting. How many other SMAC colonies are there out there? Soon SMACers will colonise every forum on the internet. Let's wish them all well. Cheers! MikeH

We have to be a collective, no-one can ever control the other posters. Perhaps we are an Anarchy? |

I thought it was some kind of illness. Anyway we definately can't use it and I'm not nerve stapling until we lift the UN charter. (Then I'm stapling everyone) |

I often wondered where you get nerve staples from. One time, I even checked out Ryman's and Smith's in Chiswick. Couldn't find any so I asked the assistant in Ryman's who looked at me as if I was mad. "Nerve staples? Never heard of them Sir. Perhaps you could try Halfords or maybe the Post Office over the road". Laugh - I nearly paid my phone bill.,,, |

Sorry to break this to you boys and girls, but this Firaxian Forum is under Fundimentalism... the Church of Sid And Brian. Any blasmephy of the Prophets and Their Holy Works and you risk excommunication (Total banning, with all blasphemous new identies erased as well) or simple loss of your Blessed Name (Loss of ID). Simple censor (deleting of threads) is excerised all the time to prevent an Heathens, Pagans, or Lost Ones from leading the Flock astray.-Darkstar |
