Ok, I have been reading all of these posts dealing with so-and-so being banned and so-and-so who seems no different, not being banned. I have seen my name come up in arguments such as:
"Oh, well TD was banned and Wank wasn't, and Wank also uses profanity."
or
"...Wank still uses profanity."
or
"Wank, go stick your head up a goats rear end you naive little..." (you get the point)
Ok, for all the ignorant people out there, who jump on the bandwagon because "everyone else is bashing Wank, let's bash him too", the ONLY posts I EVER used profanity in were the 2 (hmm, maybe 3, not sure) replies to TD when he was bitching at Krushkala.
Now, for all of you who are either:
a) offended by the language I used
b) offended that TD was banned and not me
c) offended...period
d) can't perform in bed
Ok, 'd' I can't help you there, but for the rest of you, I offer my appologies. An appology which, to all of the people who have posted something about me, will probably not matter, but an appology nevertheless.
The thing that I find amusing however, is that before anyone got banned, nobody minded me having the name Wank. But once TD got wiped, suddenly it's all my fault. And truly, all of you who have written something offensive about me, you have absolutely no idea who tempting the urge is to just go out onto the forums and cuss everyone out. But I will have to settle with the fact that your fragile little minds will not be affected (as they could be) by the various phrases currently rollign around in my head.
Once again, I appologize.

Although I was mostly mad at you as the dude that benefitted from the lack of perceived Firaxisian justice. My memory says that you L-E-T-T-E-R-E-D a few words, and that was one of the things Jeff sayed he killed Trip for, as it PURPOSELY got around thier meager auto-censor. There was also the personal attacks, but...
And yes, you did mispell apology. I misplell everything, so its not a big deal.
So, for the record, I apologize for being over the top and attacking you. Fair is fair... and if you are going to be the big person about it, I can drag myself out of the muck to try and meet it.

Hmm, yes, your memory serves you correctly..in a way. I did l-e-t-t-e-r....1 word. In reply to Hellokitty's post that all she saw was a bunch of *'s all over the screen I said that the only word I wrote was s**t, and in order for HK to see the word and not just 4 *'s I wrote: s-h-i-t.

As you know, we fell out a while back. But then, as now, you offered a full apology, and for my money you're completely welcome here whatever handle you use. Don't misinterpret what has been said here - I don't think any of those (who took a much more strident view than me) meant anything towards you personally.
...and, no, people, I'm not being inconsistent - neither protagonist in this overblown nonsense should have been banned. But as banning actually means nothing than changing your name (.., and, by the way Wank me old mate, it might be an idea) then the whole big issue really isn't one. When is a ban not a ban - when you change your name (and there's a lot of them out there) and just carry on the same.
All that has been proved is that
(a) Firaxis understand ****, and allegedly control nothing, except all of a sudden some obscure Fxis tech-head bans TD.
(b) We've all gotta watch our language and be careful of our criticisms. I personally, will have to avoid advocating class-A drugs (presumably something similar to this might have added to TD's poor Firaxis score - although, TD, going political's always an easy way to get you up the hit list). "I urge you to impose Police State immediately"
(c) In spite of his name, Wank is a decent guy.
So. Let's bin the whole thing. There's no point in reinstating TD as he has already reinstated himself in miriad other disguises.

I may be wrong but I did not see an attack from Wank at you as a head shrinker.
If you want an attack I could give your email address to my father-in-law who likes to let people know the difference between the "ologist" and the "iatrist" when ever people accidently use the wrong term with him. It seems he kind of likes the M.D. in his name and the abilty to prescribe.
Now that ought to get Trippin's attention.
Wank, remember B) is not your fault, despite his behavior at times Trippin' is a big boy and very definitely know what he is saying and how he is saying it. JKM also has to take responsibility for what he chose to do, right or wrong.

Psychologist, psychiatrist, what's the difference? In the end, they're all like lawyers: They take your money, and when they're finished you're still screwed =).
Now a proctologist, there's a life saving profession. People are always saying: "Oh my cardiologist cut me open and saved my heart."
or
"My optometrist fixed me and now I'm not blind."
You never hear someone saying: "Well, see I fell off this tree and landed on a fence and, I swear, if it wasn't for my proctologist, I'd be walkin' like a female porn star right now...."

A psychologist has a their doctorate only in psychology, they can analyze but not prescribe medications.
A psychiatrist has their psych doctorate and an M.D. thus they can prescribe meds (prozac, lithium, etc.,) They are also usually snooty about their degree of professionalism compared to psychologists.
It is similar to Optometrist and Opthomalogist (sp?).
