As mtg cleverly pointed out - if your name is in the topic - it cant be removed

We should be all set for more fun and growth. The rules are finally set ( check them - I changed them a few times ).

All scores have been adjusted to conform to the new rules (as much as I can tell).

The longer scenarios should be more interesting. If you can beat everyone's year, you wont be forced to get a high AC score.

Ares 7 submitted a long scenario. I encourage others to do so too.

The solutions are available for downloading - I think everyone can learn - its amazing what I have seen in these files.

I downloaded and played the "VERY HARD" Scenarion you have on you sight, i couldnt be bothered to e-mail you to post my score but here it is:

Year 2389
Score 12,430

Does anyone know a way to prevent a faction escaping in an escape pod when you capture their last base. In Santiago_2149 this happened to me. It took me a few turns to find yang. I tried surrounding his base with all of my units. You would think that would work.

The only reason a faction escapes in an escape pod is because the game is still in the early stages. If you dont want this to happen you have to customise the rules to say "Dont re-start eliminated players" then they will not get away in a colony pod.

yes krushala - thats a bummer - ha ha ha

I didnt set the do or die option in the scenario - that was a deliberate act to allow escapes to happen - maybe an error though.

Actually the escapes seem to be random - like pods are - so if you just replay that year....

actually I just tried that today with an old save game. It seems to be random. But I wasn't sure. I thought there might be some factors affecting it. Like game year, size of map, etc.

I think it's after 100 years they can't escape.
