i am wondering about lotsa things and id like you guys with xperience to post some strategies here . I am playing with university and they kick ass . i got a democratic governmennt . i was wondering wether i ken become council chairman ( not supreme leader ) , just chairman and how . -jools |

If you mean Planetary Governor, you need all the Commlink frequencies for all the factions. Then when you go to the Council menu, you get the option to convene the Council and propose the motion to Elect Planetary Governor. It can only be done once every 20 years (turns) and only the two currently strongest factions can be candidates, so you may find that at first you won't be able to vote for yourself. However, it's sometimes a good idea to convene the Council anyway and vote for the weaker of the two candidates, to slow down the stronger one. If this isn't what you were asking... sorry!  |

Jools, To elaborate (one of my more annoying habits) on Nell's reply... When the council is convened, it is the two leaders whose factions have the most planetary votes (as modified by various secret projects) that are eligible for the office of Planetary Governor. Note, these are not necessarily the two strongest or most powerful factions, but rather, the most populous. JAMiAM |
