Ok, am I missing something here, or do golden ages just not work? I've got several cities in democracy with children's creches and plenty of extra nutrients and in golden ages. +2+2+2=+6, yet no population boom. I switched to planned economics for an extra +2 and then the population boom showed up. Has this been changed from the manual, or am I missing something? Also, a minor bug: I built Universal Translator and received two secrets technologies, however, the game only gave me one more tech instead of two...

Here on the demo it says +2GROWTH for GA, but I thought to recall it was bogged down to just +1.

So, can anyone confirm that the growth bonus is only +1 ? (If so, I just gotta have a customized faction with +1 growth and Democracy/Free Market available. I really miss those president's day sales ; )
