I've palyed 3 full games and a few mroe partial games and never ONCE has ANY faction ever restarted!! I've tried it with the faction elimination DO NOT RESTART button selected and unselected. Am I missing something?? I'd like to have some restart once in a while!! -WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR ORK! |

It depends on how soon you killed them. I'm unsure of exactly how long they have, but I think it's around the first 50 turns. If they're not killed in that time limit, they stay eradicated. |

Yeah- the algorithim is something like if it's before 50 turns, it will restart for sure; each turn afterward the chance it escapes declines by 2% until turn 100, after which when they're dead, they're dead. |
