i like SMAC and the first games were realy exciting, but its so annoying having 10 or more bases and up to 3 formers at each base only giving new orders to my formers..
i expectet more of this game than pressing F , Strg F , M ......
the function to automate the formerunits is useless cause then the formerunits only move around doing NOTHING !!!

That's just not true. There are two types of automation, 'A' and 'Ctrl-Shft-A' The later is far more useful. And you can change the automation in a few of the preferences.
