Strange 3.0 bug?

I finally got rid of the "old file found..." error message by reinstalling smac before executing 3.0. Now I have another bug. When loading a game or saving a game, I cannot open my smac folder to get at the subfolders (scenarios, maps, saves,etc.). As no one else seems to have mentioned this problem, what could it be? Maybe because I use windows NT? My suspicion is it has something to do with the 3.0 fix concerning what happens the first time you save. Suggestions, anyone? I can play to a limited extent by saving everything in the main smac folder, but this is clearly not acceptable in the long run. Any help would be appreciated. |
