While playing with version pre-2.0 I had to come up with ways to prevent PBs from hitting my cities since the AI can target any of them in one turn; here are two methods:1. Send a Probe Team to sabotage the production; anybody know of a way to Drop a Probe and move it in the same turn?
2. Amass an arsenal of conventional missiles and send them against the city that holds the PB. Of course, you can't do this before the PB is built. I kept track of all enemy PBs and sent the missiles after them. If the city was too far I'd do everything to get a closer base or airfield.
I like #2 the best.
Anybody have any experience with Orbital Defense Pods? I usually rush to get this tech but I've never had to use them.
