Now that a number of people here are actually becoming experts at this game (I am NOT one of said people), some of them are learning to manipulate the Alpha.txt file etc. to create what sounds like a much better gaming experience.

Perhaps this idea should wait until after patch 3.0 comes out, but here it goes:

You customizing hot-shots (say 6 or fewer) send us (whoever signs up) your Alpha.txt files by e-mail. We play each at a given setting, maybe even as the same faction, and determine which file gave us the best game.

The author of the best file wins our highest esteem, lots of worthless praise (well, maybe not worthless) and, if you think it's a good idea, his file sent to Mr. Reynolds and Co. for consideration in patch 4.0.

Considering that much of the A.I. is open to tweaking through thess files, there is no reason why the skilled folks on this board can't do the tweaking the right way and bring us all much closer to a much better game.
