Originally I wanted to ask everyone if they thought some SP's were ridiulously unbalancing. I"m sure you know what I'm talking about:
-Hunter-Seeker
-Cloning Vats
-Telepathic Matrix
-maybe some other ones..

I had thought so, because these SP's completely take away a whole dimension of the game, and it makes the game easier than it already is. With these SP's, you don't have to worry about probes, growth, or even DRONES!
But then, I thought, well, with such powerful SP's, it encourages the other factions to either obliterate your city or to capture, thus adding a new dimension to the game. Of course, only human players would be smart enough to go for those specific cities to capture those SP's, though maybe it wouldn't be hard to program the AI to "aim for" those cities.

So, do you think these powerful SP's are unbalancing or not?

Cya,
Sean

I don't think they're too unbalanced: I like SP's that have real substance.

Well, since anyone can build them, and one can often have one faction with one and another having another, I don't think they're too bad. Especially since they reward technological progress & production.
