Without the infinite time of my colleagues and having read the manual enough to know the FIRAXIS guys are chess players, I would like to come up with a set of rules/defaults that would speed the game up on a turn by turn basis without a per-turn timelimit. Could there be an overall limit like in Blitz chess where you have x minutes to make all moves? Have others figured out a way to configure the numerous preferences to expedite the game? Even if they lead to non-optimal play (Shift-A or Ctrl-Shift-A) for formers, Ctrl-Shift-U for upgrades (once it works), it would speed the game up. Thanks for any thoughts. |
