If mindworm attacks are Planet's response to ecological damage (with a caveat noted below), shouldn't they target terraforming enhancements as well as bases? This would not only be more realistic, but would also force your garrison to go out and defend the farms (where citizens are presumably being attacked) rather than wait for the worm to come to them and get the +33% advantage for attacking, as well as the $$$.Of course you find out in one of the interludes that Planet is ultimately more interested in your network nodes than its ecology, but it's also still pissed off about the boreholes.
Since AI faction troops can destroy enhancements, all that this should take is for the AI wild mindworm troops to do the same.
Finally, as someone noted elsewhere, it seems unfair for a green singularity scout to be up a demon boil simply because it has more hit points. The entire beauty of PSI combat is to cancel out technology. Just as weapons and armor don't matter, neither should the fusion generator; instead, everyone should be measured at base level: 10 hit points (either counted as a % of total, to be full realistic, or up to 10, to give at least some concession to technology).
