I have tried everything and I can't figure it out! I start "edit scenario" so everything is ocean, I make sure "map editor only" mode is on, then I click the icon for, oh, lets say forests, I hold shift and click the left button on a square (like it says in the manuel) but NOTHING HAPPENS!! The only thing I can figure out how to do is make natural landmarks appear! Even when I try to use it in a regular game with a random map I still cant get anything to work! Help! A step-by-step instructions would be greatly appreciated!!!

I had the EXACT problem last night when I tried to get the editor to work. Make sure you have the editor on, (duh..) the make sure you PRESS SCROLL LOCK. Then you can resume editing. I hope this helps, and if you have any other questions, reply to this. |

Byesnavatay: You need to place elevations first, before placing forests. Crtl-shift click on the sea squares with elevation selected, then just paint on!Utrecht: You can't. I hate it. Place a Colony Pod and start a new base. That's the only way. Where, oh where is the "Place City" command form Civ2? |
