How is it that the computer can start communicating with me (asking for peace) during my combat round and I cant do the same during theirs? For example, Im attacking two Spartan cities in the same combat round. One city falls and my troops move in. Immediatley Santiago is on the dial asking for a truce. If I say yes, I cant take the second city (without breaking the truce) and If I say no we usually dont talk for decades.
As for the retool issue.
The computer often retools production during my combat round when Im attacking cities. Another example: I approach a city which is constructing an improvement. As soon as I start to attack the improvement changes (during my turn) to a combat unit and has 0 turns left to build, presumably from transfered minerals. I cant remember if the new unit appeared in the next computer turn. Its not usually a big drama as If I cant take the city in one turn anyway then I usually dont try.
I think its just a little unfair.
