I must admit I am jealous because although I have owned SMAC since it was released I have only played 3 games and I have not played it for two weeks. Why you ask?? Am I insane? Probably. Stupid? Possibly. However, I submit there is a logical, good?... (at least that's what I tell myself) reason for my abstianance....School! Yes, I curse it and yet I know my hard work will pay off. I can't help feeling envious of those of you who play unimpeded. But alas I will cease my blithering and renew my jealously. I look forward to april 26th (last exam) to the day when I can ignor my girlfriend, friends, fish....and once again delve into the SMAC world!!! Wishing you all a good night and a great game!! Gee
PS: I know there are those of you who will say.. Hey slick! Instead of using your time reading the forums section and posting messages you could play the game. Ah.. my friend. I will not fall into that trap. The forum takes at the most15 minutes to scan. The GAME, although possible to play for only 15 minutes at a time never lets you. The GAME grabs you and keeps you much much longer. I have once too often experienced the "one more turn syndrome" of SMAC and CIV, cured only by unconciousness or system meltdown. So I must be strong. Wish me luck!

You're jealous because you have a life? Never be envious of people who have nothing better to do than sit around all day playing a game.

I agree with you there 100% smoke. I have not even finished one game. I have many other things to do. Maybe over spring break next week i will make a little time. Playing games all day won't help me achieve my goals.
