The Morgan Juggernaut is moving along at pace in the game I'm playing, although the cursed Hive has just captured one of my bases--it won't be for long. I'm aiming for the economic victory, of course, and I'm wondering, just HOW much do I need to try and corner the market?? It says something vague about being able to "mind control" all of the other bases. I'm sure I'm far from that, but I'd at least like to know approximately what I'm gonna need to give it a try.
PS I'm a slim #1 on the power chart in this game. Does that mean that EVERYONE has to give me an ultimatum demanding more than 1/3 of my energy resourses or declare vendetta?? This Morgan strategy of "buying them off" would leave me bankrupt!!

Ok, Click the menu button in the upper left of the console, then click HQ, then choose the bottom option, corner global energy market (it becomes available only after you have the planetary economics tech). It will tell you how much money you need to pull it off, and once you have enough you can choose to go now or wait "until the time is ripe."
