US terran.exe in UK version of the game

I see the UK patch hasn't arrived. I was lucky enough to receive the US terran.exe by E-mail, so now I would like to know is there any reason why I should not use it and apply 2.0 patch to it. If someone from Firaxis would kindly tell me were there anything else than terran.exe altered in UK version, that would cause some kind of conflict or something like that if I used the US terran.exe in UK version? Or someone who has UK version of the game, and is using US terran.exe: Has there been any problems? I just want to be sure. |

Yep, you can just copy the US terrain.exe over the UK one and apply the patch, the game will then work fine without the CD, assuming you did a full install. I gained a few sound problems (Construction complete reverb) but this seems to be a common problem and can be fixed easily. |
